volunteer at a build

Our Habitat homes are truly the homes that love built. They’re constructed by caring volunteers, with the support of dedicated, skilled Habitat for Humanity NL staff. It takes many caring hands to build a Habitat home.
Whether you’re a contractor or have never picked up a hammer in your life, we can use your help!

individual volunteers

Whether you’re an individual, a small group of fewer than five people, or a corporate or community group of more than five, we offer rewarding volunteer opportunities that fit your schedule, interests and abilities. There’s no previous experience required and all of the tools and training you need for the day is provided!

how to volunteer

This is where you can register for volunteer shifts & track your volunteer hours.

Simply create your own secure volunteer account on Volunteer Hub by entering your username and password (Please remember this information, as you’ll need it each time you login to sign up for a volunteer shift with Habitat for Humanity NL).

View the safety information and complete the safety quiz. If you are part of a volunteer group, every member must complete the safety orientation and sign a liability waiver.

Sign up for a build shift on our secure Volunteer Hub web portal or contact Erin Butler at ebutler@habitatnl.ca to schedule a time for you or your group to volunteer.
