Habitat for Humanity NL is currently seeking interested individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors. Habitat NL assists low Income families achieve home ownership by mobilizing local communities, volunteers, materials, and financial resources through supportive, wide ranging partnerships.

We’ve outlined below some general criteria for joining the Board.
We are currently seeking an individual with experience and expertise with all aspects of construction sites, working with hazardous materials and safety regulations.
- Construction Industry
Requirements:
- 3-year renewable Term, starting April 2022
- Time commitment of 3-6 hours per Month
Qualifications Preferred:
- Non-profit board experience is desirable
- Experience in fundraising, government or community relations an asset
- Ability to communicate Habitat’s mission, vision and values to others with accuracy and enthusiasm
- Time and desire to be a part of a cohesive team and collective efforts
- Open doors in the business community, with foundations and with private individuals or families to facilitate donations of funds or building materials
