2010 Pleasantville Build

After many months of hard work and dedication from volunteers and sponsors, Habitat NL presented the house keys to four deserving families in December 2010. These were the 34-37th homes built by Habitat for Humanity NL. The four families; which include 9 children, were able to settle into their new homes just in time for the holidays. While the families were all overjoyed, the children seemed the most excited; “I am so grateful for my new home”, one child said, “My mom and I only lived in a basement apartment before so our new house feels like the biggest house ever. It is a beautiful house and I sleep in my own room. I can have friends over now and play hide and seek. I want to thank all the people who made this happen.”
